Repository Tools 2: Integrating with multiple repositories of the same kind

We have extended our Repository Tools 2 framework to allow institutions to integrate with multiple repositories of the same kind. For example an institution can now integrate both their Eprints-based papers repository and their Eprints-based data repository using Repository Tools 2.

Additional RT2 data sources for EPrints, DSpace and Hyrax repositories can be generated within Elements upon request. Once the new RT2 data source has been enabled by our team, it can be configured as normal by establishing the API-to-API connection with the repository and configuring the crosswalk maps. For more information or assistance setting up an additional RT2 data source please contact our support team.

Please note: At the time of writing (as of Elements v6.5), automatic metadata updates are not currently available for additional RT2 data sources.
