Other improvements

This release includes a number of improvements and bug fixes, including:

  • When importing external organisations from GRID, the direction of the parent / child relationship is now accurately captured.

  • When creating an organisation from a Proposal's validation screen, the organisation's name is now pre-populated with the name provided in the Proposal, and users are able to successfully save the new organisation and are re-directed to the Proposal's validation screen.

  • The Manage forms > Proposal forms screen in the Management Console has been updated to populate the Lead applicant column and the Applicant name filter now returns the expected results.

  • The length of the content input in the 'Additional details about the opportunity' field no longer impacts on the automatic closure of the Funding Opportunity upon the passing of the Internal close date.

  • The intermittent error some users encountered when attempting to open a Proposal form has now been resolved.

  • The Review details page in the Management Console has been updated to align field names with names used elsewhere in RFS, and to include the 'Guidance for Reviewer' field.

  • The Funding Opportunities search page in the Management Console has been updated to include a 'Last updated' field (as a column in the results, as a filter, and as a field in the export file).

  • Searching for Email Templates in the Management Console now returns accurate results on the first attempt (rather than returning no results, needing to clear the search, and re-apply the desired filters)

  • The Change requests page for a Project in the Management Console has been updated to include additional columns (e.g. request type, request status, created on and submitted on dates)

  • Checklists are now available to view and modify via Manage forms in the Management Console.

  • Group Console user permissions have been updated, following on from improvements delivered in the v6.11 release.

  • Access to the Manage Reviews screen for Proposals in the Management Console is no longer available to Finance Manager (Funding).

  • Access to the Forms Designer in the Management Console is no longer available to Research Funding Data Administrator or Research Manager (Funding) (in response to client feedback).
