Yes, Elements issues its own domain-specific cookies to manage user login sessions. It does not use any cross-domain cookies and does not use cookies to track user identity across other applications. IP addresses are collected and logged in order to aid with possible future network-related or security-related troubleshooting activities. If the cookie is not set, then the user will not get a session and will be redirected to the login screen.
